Cape Town - Two goals in the final few minutes saw Free State Stars and Chippa United draw 1-1 in a Premiership encounter at Goble Park on Wednesday.
After a bright start from Chippa, the game evened out, although neither side was able to penetrate the opposition defence.
Kurt Lentjies had an effort on goal for the Chilli Boys on 23 minutes, but from a good position, he smashed his free-kick over the bar.
Stars began to find their rhythm in the final 10 minutes of the half and a good chance arrived in the 38th minute when Sinethemba Jantjie was denied at close range by Chippa keeper Daniel Akpeyi.
Ea Lla Koto also had the first opportunity after the break when Paulus Masehe let fly, but Akpeyi was again on top of his game with a good save.
The action quickly went to the other end where Sangare kept out Paseka Mako's shot from close range before the rebound was fired over.
Chippa had another chance, but Lentjies misfired in front of goal after being played in by Phetso Maphanga in the 64th minute, but the hosts scored what seemed set to be the winner when Edward Manqele netted five minutes from time.
But the Chilli Boys came storming back to square matters just two minutes later as James Okwuosa headed in a from a Menzi Masuku corner.
