Chiefs star walks suspension tightrope

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs defender Lorenzo Gordinho headlines a long list of Premiership players at risk of facing suspension in the next round of matches in the league.

Gordinho, who has been a regular under Steve Komphela and has scored three goals for Chiefs, has picked up three yellow cards, and another caution against Polokwane City on Sunday will see him miss one game.

The Glamour Boys have two more matches to go before the league goes on break until February, starting with City this weekend and then a clash against Golden Arrows.

Meanwhile, there are close to 20 players that are at risk of suspension from a selection of PSL outfits in the next round. From sides in the top four, Bidvest Wits' Thulani Hlatshwayo and SuperSport United's Denwin Farmer are some notable names.
