Chiefs 'prepared' for grueling week

Cape Town - With midweek Absa Premiership action as well as a second-leg CAF Champions League tie, Kaizer Chiefs coacj Steve Komphela is confident his side will be fully prepared.

Chiefs will host Polokwane City at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday, February 23. Kick-off is at 19:30.

According to the club’s website, Komphela describes Rise and Shine as unpredictable and tricky.

“We are looking forward to our fixture against Polokwane City,” said the coach.

“We will look at their strengths and will make sure that we will be fully prepared.”

Accordingly, Amakhosi host Comorian side Volcan de Moroni at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, February 27. Kick-off is at 19:30.

"We take them as they come,” mentions Komphela about the upcoming league and Champions League fixtures.

"It is one game at the time. As long as we are winning we will take confidence to each match.

"We have to respect our supporters and the game by playing our strongest possible team for each encounter."

Chiefs go into the second leg of the Champions League preliminary stage with a 4-0 advantage gained in the first leg in the Comoros.
