Chiefs' Mphahlele wants consistency from Soweto giants

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs defender Ramahlwe Mphahlele hopes that the international break will not disrupt their momentum after three consecutive wins in the Premiership.

Chiefs have found some good form in the league after struggling in the opening games of the season.

After five Premiership games, Amakhosi are top of the table with 10 points after three wins, one draw and one loss.

"We have to keep consistency," Mphahlele told Soccer Laduma.

"It's important that once you start collecting points you have to be consistent and continue winning and that's what we want to do from now on

"We know there is the break but we won't relax during the break.

"We will continue working and maintain our focus so that when we return to action we maintain the consistency."

Amakhosi face Ajax Cape Town when the Premiership continues on October 15.

Kick-off is at 18:00.
