Chiefs medical team to keep eye on Twala, Khumalo

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs have revealed that Sibusiso Khumalo and William Twala have resumed training, but will need to be assessed prior to the Mamelodi Sundowns fixture.

Khumalo suffered a strained muscle while Twala sustained a knock to his ankle in the Soweto giants' Telkom Knockout defeat against Free State Stars.

Chiefs communications manager Vina Maphosa has said that the pair are well on their way to recover and could feature in the Premiership encounter against Pitso Mosimane's charges.

"They are on checkup and under assessment. They are training, but there’s nothing declared on them on whether they are in or not. They are in full training and still in contention, but a final assessment must be done," he told reporters.

The two sides will face off on Saturday, November 29 at the Loftus Versveld Stadium with kick off scheduled for 15:30.
