Chiefs hope for fairytale Cape ending

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs will play their last game at home away from home in the 'Cape of Love & Peace' against the Stuart Baxter's SuperSport United.

According to the club's website, the Absa Premiership clash will take place at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday, February. Kick-off is at 20:15.

Amakhosi beat Comorian side Volcan de Moroni 4-0 on Sunday. It was Chiefs’ fourth win in a row, after already having had the better of Golden Arrows, Maritzburg United and Bidvest Wits in the last three league fixtures.

Chiefs are at present in fourth position, having collected 35 points from 19 games. That’s one point less than Bidvest Wits and Mpumalanga Black Aces.

This means that there is much more at stake for the Matsatsantsa game than just the three points, Amakhosi are eyeing second position on the league table.

SuperSport recently appointed former Chiefs coach as their new mentor and the Scotsman worked in the past with Amakhosi coach Steve Komphela at Bafana Bafana (2004 and 2005). It will provide for an interesting angle to the game.

The tickets are on sale at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers selling for R60.
