Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs defender Lorenzo Gordinho is reportedly impressing while on trial with Aalborg in Denmark and caught the eye during a defeat to Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim.
The 22-year-old is currently on trial in Europe as they look to bring in a new defender, and put in an eye-catching performance against the German team.
Recently, AaB's head coach Morten Wieghorst said of Gordinho's influence: "I think he had a fine workout, but it is too early to judge anything from just a single exercise.
"He has many things to get used to - a new club, especially a new climate and a new style of play, so it would not be fair to pass a judgment about anything yet."
The centre-back has until January 17 to convince Wieghorst he is worthy of a deal in the Danish Superliga. It's unknown at this stage if Chiefs will demand a fee for the player's services.
