Chiefs draw Magesi in FAME Charity Cup

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs have been drawn to face National First Division (NFD) outfit Magesi in the FAME Charity Cup, which will take place on Saturday, August 6th.

Following their Carling Black Label Champion Cup triumph over arch-rivals Orlando Pirates on Saturday, the Naturena-based outfit continue their preparations for the 2016/17 Absa Premiership season when they compete in the FAME Charity Cup at Polokwane’s New Peter Mokaba Stadium.

The four-team tournament will kick off with a semi-final fixture between Baroka FC and Black Leopards at 11:00, before the Soweto giants square off against Magesi at 13:00, with the final set to take place at 15:00.

The tournament aims to raise funds for various charity organisations and bursaries for students in need of financial aid.

Tickets are available at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers at R80.00 for the two semi-finals and the cup final.
