Cape Town - Mbabane Swallows boss Victor Gamedze has hit out at Bloemfontein Celtic for their conduct over the potential signing of Felix Badenhorst and Sabelo Ndzinisa.
The pair were on trial with Phunya Sele Sele last month, but were not offered deals, Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco saying at the time that the players were not what his club were looking for.
However, Siwelele coach Serame Letsoaka was quoted earlier this week as saying that he still hoped to sign the duo and was confident of them playing in the Premiership this coming season.
Gamedze has been less than impressed by Celtic's actions and hit out at the South African club.
"Normally, I wouldn't be talking about the issue, but again one has to make it clear that Celtic seem to be operating in a way that showed that the right hand does not know what the left hand was doing," Gamedze said as quoted by the Times.
"As a team, we have concluded that we were being undermined. And we wish to remind them that our players are not as desperate as those from other countries in Africa, because here they have plenty of opportunities in life to explore apart from being professional footballers.
"They can join the armed forces or obtain employment from a variety of sectors."
