Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic have confirmed the signing of striker Sydney Masana while also promoting five players from their youth ranks.
Masana, who previously played for Free State Stars, has been added to Siwelele's squad as they look to boost their striking department.
The 25-year-old was on the books of Ea Lla Koto for two years, but failed to score a single goal.
Masana had only recently signed a deal with Mthatha Bucks in the National First Division, but jumped at the chance of a return to the PSL when Celtic came calling.
The club also confirmed the promotion to the first team of five youth products, who all received five-year deals. Sipho Chaine (goalkeeper) Matshego Nyapoli (right-back), Keabetswe Mabe (left-back) and Kobedi Kobedi (midfielder) are all now available to coach Serame Letsoaka.
A statement from Celtic's chief executive officer, Chabeli Motsamai, outlined the club's passion for youth development.
He said: "Our development structure has been one of one of the best in the country looking at the number of players we have nurtured and clearly giving youngsters the opportunity to perform at the higher level symbolises our seriousness as a brand to build for the future."
