Cape Town City announce Umbro deal

Cape Town - Cape Town City FC have announced that Umbro SA will be the official kit supplier in a long term deal.

The Western Cape side released a statement confirming that they will start donning the brands emblem when the season starts in August.

"We are excited to officially announce global football brand Umbro SA has joined us in a long term partnership, as official kit supplier for the club," read the statement.

"The new Cape Town City Football Club 2016/17 kit will be worn for the first time during their opening league game in August and will be on sale shortly before that."

City boss John Comitis purchased Mpumalanga Black Aces and brought the club to Cape Town as well as renaming the club.

Meanwhile, City have also secured the services of Eric Tinkler as their head coach.
