Cape Town - SuperSport United striker Jeremy Brockie feels valued at the club after suitors were warned that he would not be sold at any price.
Big-spending Mamelodi Sundowns are confirmed admirers of the New Zealand international after reportedly tabling an offer for his services.
Brockie won the Nedbank Cup title at the end of last season after a 3-2 victory over Orlando Pirates in the final.
"It makes one feel good and that one is appreciated and needed at the club," he told KickOff.
"I'm very happy here and would like to achieve more success as I work with a fantastic bunch of lads.
"I mean, if you look at the energy we showed during the second half of the season... no-one expected us to do so well but we did. We won the Nedbank Cup and secured a top eight spot.
"We have a winning coach in Baxter. He has shown this in the past before with Chiefs. We have also recruited some experienced players during the transfer period, so that just proves the coach's intentions that we want to achieve more success next season."
