Cape Town - Henrico Botes believes Benson Shilongo will set the PSL alight this season following his move to Platinum Stars from Gaborone United.
Dikwena unveiled 13 new signings at a press conference on Thursday, with veteran striker Botes rejoining the Rustenburg outfit from Bidvest Wits.
The former Namibia international has commented on his strike-partner to be at Stars and highlighted Shilongo's various attributes.
"Shilongo is a typical number nine and he is also a target man but he is quite mobile. He has got good feet, and a good technique," the 36-year-old told the club's official website.
"He has an eye for goals and I am sure if he gets a chance and gets used to the league, he will just grow from strength to strength.
"Maybe he can score a couple of goals in his first season and the sky can be the limit."
Botes, who first arrived in South Africa over a decade ago, said that adapting to the league will be made easier for Shilongo due to his presence.
"It's his first year in the PSL but I believe with me being here I am sure it will help him to settle quicker and find his feet," Botes continued.
"The standard is quite higher than all the leagues in Africa. Hopefully I can assist him and all the young strikers as well."
