Billiat wants points record with 'Downs

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns playmaker Khama Billiat has revealed that the team is eager to break the record for most points in a season.

The Brazilians could set a new benchmark of 71 points with a victory against Platinum Stars on Saturday.

The defending champions are not satisfied with the title, they want to make history at the Lucas Moripe Stadium against Dikwena.

"We are still focused on the last game of the season. We can't say because we have won the league then we relax," Billiat told Soccer Laduma.

"We will play the same way we have been playing throughout the season. We still need the three points to set our own record in the league."

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
