Billiat: I can do better

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns forward Khama Billiat has identified areas in his game he needs to improve in order to be considered an elite footballer.

Billiat played an instrumental role in Sundowns' title clinching campaign with 10 goals and 14 assists so far this season.

However, the Zimbabwe international is not getting carried away and wants to concentrate on improving his game even more.

"I'm happy to contribute to assists in most of the games but, if I look at my game, I think I can do better," Billiat told KickOff.

"Sometimes I need to pass the ball; sometimes I need to make a simple pass. If I don't do that, and if you look at it could even have been an assist at the end of the day.

"But, yes, I'm happy. I take it one step at a time. We are professional, we still have two games to play so we want to win all the games that remain.

"Even though it's done, we set ourselves targets in the beginning of the season that we haven't reached so there's still games that we need to focus on, stay humble and show professionalism."
