Big things expected of Castro

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns utility man Asavela Mbekile believes that striker Leonardo Castro is in the process of becoming a key member of the team.

The 26-year-old from Colombia is in his first season in South Africa, and has scored four goals in league and cup for Pitso Mosimane's side.

Mbekile, though, says Castro is still finding his feet, and expects the South American to get even stronger as he settles in to his new environment.

"I think we haven't seen the best of Castro. I think when time goes by we will see the best out of him," Mbekile told Goal website.

"I think he hasn't adjusted to the standard of the league in South Africa as yet but if he adjusts well, then we will see the best of him.

"I think he is a good player; we are very impressed with what he does at training. He has been doing well."
