Cape Town - Lennox Bacela hailed Shaun Bartlett's influence at AmaTuks since his arrival and tipped his side to shock Supersport United in the last-16 of the Nedbank Cup.
University of Pretoria currently hold an unwanted record of not scoring a single goal in nine previous competitive fixtures against Matsatsansa but Bacela feels his record of seven goals in nine starts against their cross-town rivals, will give them a fighting chance.
"I have a good record against SuperSport and have scored a lot of goals against them, so I always enjoy coming up against them," he told The Sowetan.
Prior to Bartlett's appointment as head coach, Tuks had the worst attacking statistics in the league but the former Bafana striker's influence among the club's forwards has been evident with nine goals in their last four fixtures.
"Things have improved since coach Shaun Bartlett has taken over," the former Orlando Pirates striker added.
"We now have a coach who was himself a successful striker and a lot more work goes into preparing the forwards.
"The pressure is more on SuperSport because they would expect to win with their squad. That could work in our favour. We can go there and just play without fear."
