Sundowns defender Wayne Arendse says clinching the CAF Champions League
will sink-in when he wears the new club crest against Kaizer Chiefs on
Saturday.
Sundowns will show-off their newly designed jersey at Loftus Versveld with a star on the badge to indicate their African triumph.
The Brazilians will look to kick-start their Premiership title defence after focusing much of their attentions on continental competition.
"For me, it's something significant and I'm pretty excited to pull the jersey over my head," Arendse told KickOff.
"It's a moment I have dreamt about but never really thought it would become a reality – but it did. That's why I consider Saturday's clash against Kaizer Chiefs as very special occasion. The fact that we will wear our new kit against one of our arch rivals makes it even more special.
"Maximum points is our objective and that is non-negotiable. I shouldn't allow the occasion to get the better of me. We need the points to better our position on the log.
"They [Chiefs] too will be gunning for a victory and in that regard we can expect an open game. Our first priority would be to get the three points as we're playing in front of our home fans. It's important that we bounce back after our defeat against Cape Town City on our home ground."
Masandawana coach Pitso Mosimane will be looking to his side to secure a vital win over their fellow title contenders and to move up on the league standings.
Kickoff is at 1530.
