Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns defender Wayne Arendse has praised team-mate Khama Billiat for putting "his body on the line" every time he steps out onto the pitch.
The diminutive Zimbabwe international has been a key part of Sundowns' success in recent times and banged in 12 league goals last season.
In addition, the forward has been the central driving force in Downs' regular front three of Leonardo Castro and Keagan Dolly.
Although Castro is currently coming back from injury, the trio have been hugely influential in helping the Brazilians reach Saturday's CAF Champions League final first-leg clash against Zamalek.
With that said, Arendse believes the player deserves credit for being so brave despite his smaller stature.
He told the PSL's official website: "What an amazing player, Khama is something else. He's a small guy, but has such a big heart.
"Not one game goes by when he doesn't get knocked or kicked by a defender. But he puts his body on the line and keeps going. The goals he scores are there for all to see."
