AmaZulu to sign Bafana keeper on loan

Cape Town - PSL newcomers AmaZulu are expected to sign Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Boalefa Pule on a one-season loan deal from SuperSport United.

Pule has been performing well for a 'developmental' South African team which has been taking part in the Chan qualifiers.

However, with the likes of Ronwen Williams and Reyaad Pieterse ahead of him in the pecking order at Matsatsantsa, his opportunities have been severely limited. Pule has not yet played an official PSL game, although he did get some action in the CAF Confederation Cup for SuperSport.

His agent, Micky Paiva, confirmed with the SoccerLaduma website that the 27-year-old goalkeeper is now set to try and earn more regular game-time down in Durban.

"Boalefa has joined AmaZulu on loan for the season from SuperSport. They've also got an option to make it a permanent deal at the end of the loan," he said.

Usuthu are also reportedly keen on signing SuperSport United midfielder Michael Morton.
