AmaZulu to replenish squad

Cape Town - AmaZulu caretaker coach Delron Buckley has revealed the team will be looking to sign young talent in the off-season.

Usuthu last month fired coach Steve Barker after the team failed to clinch a return to the Premiership from the National First Division.

Former Chicken Inn coach Joey Antipas has been appointed to replace Barker next season.

Buckley, the assistant coach, has taken charge of the team for the remainder of the season.

"The club wants more young players to come in, and looking towards next season to prepare so that we can start on a good note," Buckley told the club's website after the 1-0 loss to Milano United at the weekend.

"Actually the system and style of play worked perfectly, we had our left-back and right-back go out wide and overlapping to receive the ball which worked perfectly.

"It's just a pity that we had so many opportunities to score a goal and it's like week in and week out that we can't score.

"Milano played really good. They held back and played on a counter attack. It's just a pity that the goal which was scored was our defence's mistake but at the end of the day we lost one-nil and we have to look at the next game."
