Alexander looking forward to playing with Yeye

Cape Town - Outgoing Polokwane City midfielder Cole Alexander says it will be an honour to play alongside Kaizer Chiefs' Reneilwe Letsholonyane at SuperSport United next season.

Both players have confirmed their departure from Rise and Shine, and Amakhosi respectively at the end of the campaign, with Matsatsantsa set to be their home for the next two years.

"I am very happy and excited that I will get to play with him. I have always admired him and he has always been my favourite player and I try to base my game a lot on him, and I watched him and have learnt a lot from him throughout the years," Alexander told Goal website.

"It’s an honour for me to join SuperSport United with players like him and hopefully I can learn as much as possible from him and the other players in the team as well as the coach there.

"I am happy with the way things went for me this season. In the beginning, there was some issues but they were sorted out early enough. I didn’t do as good as last season, but I am happy with my performances this season."
