Ajax linked with Zimbabwe-based trio

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town are reportedly interested in two Zimbabwean players and a Cameroon-born striker.

The Herald publication stated that Urban Warriors chief scout Louis De Faria was in Zimbabwe last week and attended Sunday's game at Rufaro between Dynamos and Yadah.

There is apparent interest from the Mother City outfit in Zimbabwe international defender Ocean Mushure, Cameroon marksman Christian Epoupa Ntouba and Warriors midfielder Blessing Moyo, who watched the match from the stands after recently being released by another South African club Maritzburg United.

Mushure, who starred for Zimbabwe at the 2017 COSAFA Cup, was on the scoresheet and Ntouba provided the assist before also scoring as Dynamos won 2-0.

Meanewhile Ajax Cape Town have confirmed that Rivaldo Coetzee will return to the club from Johannesburg where the player was undergoing a medical examination ahead of a proposed transfer to Scottish Champions , Glasgow Celtic.

Following a routine medical examination carried out by the Celtic medical department, they discovered an underlying problem with his right foot. The clubs were therefore unable to conclude the deal based on the medical information available.
