Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs strikers Camaldine Abraw and Ryan Moon have started doing rehabilitation work in the gym following their respective knee injuries.

Abraw has resumed gym training after he underwent knee surgery in July, prompting the Glamour Boys not to register him for the 2016/17 campaign.

The Togo international was initially expected to be ruled out for nine months, although he could potentially return in the new year if his recovery continues to go well.

The 26-year-old has managed six goals in 26 appearances since joining Steve Komphela's side from Free State Stars in 2015/16.

Meanwhile, Moon is also back in the gym after having an operation on his knee in late September and is expected to return to action in around six weeks.

The 20-year-old has yet to play in an official game for Amakhosi since joining from Maritzburg United before the current season. Keagan Buchanan is another recent signing who is yet to make his debut for Chiefs following an injury.
