Johannesburg - SuperSport United have revealed they have indeed clinched the signature of Sibusiso Zuma, but he will only join the club at the end of the season.
The veteran striker was reported to have penned a pre-contract at the start of the transfer window, but the player and Matsatsantsa continued to deny these claims.
However, as the January sales phase came to an end yesterday, United's commercial manager Jose Ferreira confirmed the once Bafana Bafana star will be in Pretoria at the end of the campaign.
"Zuma has signed a pre-contract with us and we wanted him right away, but they (Vasco) wouldn't let him go now," Ferreira said of the 35-year-old.
On the other movements at the club, Ferreira added: "Both Thabo Mongalo and Thulani Ngcepe have left the team. Thabo has gone to Platinum Stars while Thulani has joined Tukkies (Pretoria University) and they are on loan until the end of the season. We have signed Ashley Hartog from FC Cape Town."
