Zulu has no sympathy for Chippa

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs striker David Zulu will have no sympathy for his former team in their opening Premiership clash against Chippa United.

Zulu joined Amakhosi from Chippa in January and went on to earn his maiden league winner's medal.

"We are going there to win. No more feelings, even though they gave me a break. We are the defending champs, we have to play like champions," Zulu told the club's official website.

New Chiefs coach Steve Komphela appears willing to give Zulu more game-time unlike his predecessor Stuart Baxter, who used him sparingly.

"I am happy. With more games you hope there'll be improvement and it is promising," Zulu added.

The encounter is set to take place at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Sunday, August 9.

Kick-off is at 15:00.
