Yeye out after father dies

Cape Town - Reneilwe Letsholonyane will play no part in Kaizer Chiefs' Premiership encounter against SuperSport United after the midfielder's father passed away on Monday, February 16.

The South Africa international learned of the news while at a training camp with Amakhosi in Polokwane and has since been granted compassionate leave.

Chiefs' communications manager Vina Maphosa confirmed the situation, saying: "Reneilwe Letsholonyane’s father has died on Monday night.

"‘Yeye’ received the unfortunate news while in camp with the team in Polokwane.

“The club has compassionately allowed Yeye time off to join the family in mourning their loss.

"Yeye will miss the match against SuperSport United taking place tonight (Tuesday) at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

"The late Andrew Ramogangwane Letsholonyane died at the age of 59."
