Xulu seeks regular Chiefs spot

Johannesburg - Newly signed Kaizer Chiefs defender, Siyanda Xulu, says joining the Glamour Boys is the new beginning of his career and is looking forward to the challenge in the famous gold and black jersey.

Chiefs confirmed the capture of the former Mamelodi Sundowns Ace in a press conference held at the club village in Naturena on Tuesday, June 23.

The 23-year-old man marker, understands that it will not be easy to break into the Chiefs starting line-up but has vowed to fight for his place.

“I’m very happy to be here, " said Xulu.

“This is a new team for me and I’m looking forward to a new beginning of my career for sure.

“And all that is left for me to do is to do what I do best.

“I’m also looking to play regularly here but I know that it will not be easy at all.

“But I will fight for my place in the team just like the rest of my teammates.”
