Wome: Nothing to prove

Cape Town - SuperSport United attacker Dove Wome holds no grudges against Mamelodi Sundowns, despite being given the boot after topping the scoring charts.

Wome spent just one term at Chloorkop before apparently falling out with head coach Pitso Mosimane, and after spending last season on loan at Tshwane rivals Matsatsantsa, the Togo international completed a permanent three-year deal with the club.

Wome was again top scorer last term, sharing SuperSport's Golden Boot award with Jeremy Brockie, with both bagging 10 goals in the 2014/15 Premiership campaign/

"I'm not under pressure because the season I spent at Sundowns, I was the best goalscorer for the club in all competitions so I don't have anything to prove to them. I will relax and play my normal game," Wome told KickOff.

"I can't say there's a big difference between the clubs because both are challenging for the league.

"SuperSport have proven themselves by winning three league titles so they are also a big club.

"Maybe Sundowns have more fans than SuperSport but I think if we do well then more fans will come watch us. I think we have to bring them [fans] back to the stadium."
