Cape Town - Bidvest Wits CEO Jose Ferreira remained mum on the futures of Sthembiso Ngcobo and Lerato Chabangu, with both players looking to secure contracts with the team.
Ngcobo is yet to secure a new deal after he became a free agent following the expiration of his contract at the end of the season, while Chabangu has been training with the club since his deal at relegated Moroka Swallows came to an end.
"There’s nothing yet on Sthembiso, as far as I’m concerned he remains a player of the club until something comes up. All in all there’s no decision," Ferreira told SuperSport.
"We’re discussing the way forward and we’ll therefore announce the decision, because it’s our duty to make it known.
"Chabangu is training and there’s nothing decided. He’s a great player but we’ve not decided with the coach about a one-year deal or something like that.
"Whatever chat we have with (head coach) Gavin (Hunt) remains between us and we’ll announce on Chabangu as well."
