Wits to part ways with Pule

Cape Town - Bidvest Wits are set to part ways Katlego Pule, who has struggled for game time at the club.

The defender, who can also play in midfield, will be put on transfer to look for a new team of his choice.

A source at the club told Sport24 that the player is not in the plans for the team for the 2015/16 season and will be released.

“If you recall the same player nearly joined Ajax Cape Town last season, but the deal fell through at the last minute,” said the source.

“He is not in the plans of the coach and is among players that will be released to find a new home somewhere else.”

According to the source, coach Gavin Hunt wants to have a strong squad to challenge for honours in the new season as he looks for his first trophy since arriving at the club.
