Wits to loan out Kebede

Cape Town - Bidvest Wits are set to loan out their Ethiopian striker Getaneh Kebede for the 2015/16 season.

The 23-year-old striker, who joined the team in 2013, played in just 10 PSL games this past season, and he still has a year remaining on his contract and that's why they want to loan him out.

A Sport24 source at the club said that the team is talking to different clubs, who could be interested in the player.

The source further revealed that at the moment the player is at home in Ethiopia for the off season, and they will wait for him to return before finalising any loan deal.

"There are a number of players who are set to be either sent out on loan or released, and one of them is Kebede,” the source said.

“With him it's clear he is going on loan, but it not yet clear as to which club he is going to be loaned to, but definitely he is going on loan.”
