Wits reveal new jersey - PIC

Cape Town - Bidvest Wits in association with Kappa have unveiled their new jersey for the upcoming 2015/16 PSL season.

This is Wits third season with technical sponsor Kappa and Ricky Joseph, Kappa Brand Manager, says that the brand tried to implement some new features to give the kit an exuberant look.

"Kappa South Africa is proud to present the South African market with its brand new design for the new Home and Away kit for Bidvest Wits Football Club for the 2015/2016 season.

"This will be the third successive season where the club will showcase a new design and collaboration of the Kappa Brand together with the Bidvest Wits team.

"While Kappa has maintained the traditional home and away colours of the club with its usual slick look, we have introduced some new features similar to that of the European sponsored teams such as Leeds united, Wolfsburg and Napoli.

"These features include a brand new collar design and spec together with special double layered trims on both the neck, sleeves and shorts alike.

"This kit will once again offer the players the opportunity to not only look the best, but to feel the best, with once again the Kappa Kombat match kit being made with the most advanced moisture management Hydroway fabrication.

"This fabric is a unique lightweight Polyester combined with a Lycra material giving the players the ultimate comfort while on the field.

"As always with the Kappa brand, the fit of this new kit design is that of a skin-fit, showing off the physique of these professionals in the best way possible."

Jose Ferreira, Bidvest Wits Chief Executive officer added: "Our relationship with Kappa has grown year on year and we are exceedingly proud to be launching our new home and away jersey with Kappa this season.

"The classic design speaks to the 94 year history of this club and the technical superiority will stand our players in good stead on the field."

The Students open their PSL account against Ajax Cape Town on Saturday, August 8.

Kick-off is at 20:15.
