According to KickOff, Pule was reportedly on the verge of signing for Ajax Cape Town at the start of the season but the deal did not go through because of injury concerns.

However, fresh reports suggest that Urban Warriors' coach Roger de Sa remains interested in signing Pule, who he coached in 2010/11.

“Pule was out injured but has since returned to training though he is not with the first team,” said Jose Ferreira.

“We have received offers which we are currently studying and we will decide soon because as you know the window is still open.”

Wits return to the PSL fold on Tuesday, February 10 at the Harry Gwala Stadium when they face Maritzburg United.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
