Cape Town - BidVest Wits will play against Mpumalanga Black Aces in the semifinal of the Mbombela Football Spectacular at the Mbombela Stadium, and coach Gavin Hunt says the tournament will help them build for the new season.

Speaking to Sport24, Hunt said that they have brought in some new players and they need to look at them and build a team for the new season.

"We are building for the new season, " Hunt said.

“The team is looking good but it's good that we keep on playing as we build for the new season.

“The tournament will help us do that.

“We want to win the first game and go to the final so that we give almost every player the chance to play on the day, and see how the team looks for the new season.”
