Johannesburg - Former Bloemfontein Celtic coach, Clinton Larsen, believes appointing Mich D’Avray as technical director was a master stroke move by Chippa United.

“It’s a very wise move to bring him on board. He has a wealth of experience and he knows the game very well,” said Larsen.
According to Football411, Larsen worked for many years with D’Avray and the chances of them working again together have been curbed by Larsen as it has been reported that the current third tier Roses United coach has been linked with the job.
“I’m sure he'll put very good structures in place at the club and he's a guy that will help them make all the right decision, including who they appoint.”
Larsen confirmed that there has been no approach by the Chilli Boys and that he is more than happy to stay at Roses.
Meanwhile Chippa face Orlando Pirates on Saturday, September 27 at 15:00.
