Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs coach Vladimir Vermezovic has admitted his hopes of winning the PSL are all but over for another season.
Amakhosi went down to a 2-0 defeat to leaders SuperSport United at Loftus Versveld to leave them 11 points behind Gavin Hunt's side with just 13 matches remaining this season.
Having billed the meeting with Matsatsanta a Pitori as the biggest match of the season so far, the Serbian coach conceded that the gap is too large to make up.
"Eleven points is too much but our main aim is not the title anymore," said Vermezovic.
"We have to think about the way we are playing because there is still a lot to play for. Nobody made any mistakes tonight and we cannot blame anyone - it was just two goals that won the game for them.
"It should be interesting to see how we get on for the next seven games. Nothing is over but you never know in football what can happen."
