According to Soccer Laduma, Sarr admits that the game was tough for both sides but saw the light at the end of the tunnel once Pirates equalised.

“It was a tough game for both teams,” said Sarr.

“If you look at the chances that we created in the first half we could have won the game early.

“But we never gave up and we kept on fighting.

“After scoring the first goal we knew we could eventually win and indeed we won the game.”

The former Platinum Stars opened the scoring for Pirates after Sifiso Myeni’s stoppage time strike secured a 2-1 win for Vladimir Vermezovic’s side as the Buccaneers find themselves back in the top four with 17 points and a game in hand.

Meanhwhile, Orlando Pirates play University of Pretoria on Wednesday, November 26 in the Absa Premiership.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
