Chiefs playing to win - Katsande

Cape Town – Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande says it doesn't concern him how they beat against Mamelodi Sundowns.

According to Soccer Laduma, Kaizer Chiefs are sitting comfortably atop the PSL standings after 10 games and will stretch their lead to 15 points if they managed to defeat Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.

Chiefs go into the game as favourites after winning nine of their league matches so far while the defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns have managed just four wins in this season.

Willard Katsande has set his sights on all three points in the crucial match against Pitso Mosimane's men.

“This is a game that everyone wants to win and also watch. It's not a derby, but it's a very big game and we have to go there on November 22 to win,” said Katsande.

"How we do it isn’t really important.

“We know that Sundowns are a great team with great players. They are always hard to play against.”

Kick-off is at 15:30 at the FNB Stadium.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
