Bloemfontein Celtic is among the list of clubs willing to throw the player a lifeline after Swallows were relegated from top flight football.
Wana, who is currently in camp with Bafana Bafana, has made it clear that he will not go to the national First Division with Swallows and is negotiating with some teams over a possible move.
A source at Celtic says that chairman, Max Tshabalala, will give the striker a PSL lifeline as the two have worked together at Roses United before.
“He did very well at Swallows last season and has been identified among the players that the team wants to bring for the new season,” said the source.
“The good thing about him is that he has worked with the chairman before.”
