Wana, Massa begin Celtic journey

Cape Town - New Bloemfontein Celtic recruits, Vuyisile Wana and Geoffrey Massa, reported for training duty after joining from Moroka Swallows and Pretoria University respectively.

The duo recently represented their respective nations in the CHAN qualifications over the weekend.

Massa was playing for Uganda while Wana made his debut for Bafana Bafana in Shakes Mashaba’s 3-0 win over Mauritius.

Wana was also part of the Bafana squad that played Gambia and Angola in recent weeks.

Celtic CEO, Khumbulani Konco, told Sport24 that the duo trained with the rest of the squad for the first time on Monday, June 22.

“We are happy to have them at the club and believe that they will make the group stronger in the new season,” Konco said.

“The aim is to be a better team and challenge for honours and hopefully with more additions that will be possible.”
