Vilakazi: I'll be back soon

Benedict Vilakazi (Gallo)
Johannesburg - Mamelodi Sundowns playmaker Benedict Vilakazi has vowed to return to action in the near future.

Vilakazi's absence has coincided with a lack of creativity in the Brazilians' side this season, despite an unbeaten start to the league campaign.

Sundowns fans are relishing the return of the mercurial little midfielder and Vilakazi admits he could be back next month in the yellow of South Africa's biggest money spinners.

Vilakazi, who picked up the injury during an MTN8 clash with Ajax Cape Town in August, told The Sowetan: "The injury was a big blow for me because I was getting game time towards the end of last season.

"I felt I was getting back to my best so you can imagine how I felt when I suffered that injury. It was terrible.

"I will start my rehab early in October and I hope to come back a much stronger player sooner."
