Vila wants to be part of Wits success

Cape Town - Sibusiso Vilakazi reveals that he feels he still has a lot to give Bidvest Wits despite his ambitions to play abroad.

The Students have always insisted that the Bafana Bafana forward will only be sold to a European based club despite Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns showing interest in his services.

Sport24 reported that 26-year-olds agent, Mike Makaab revealed that there was interest from the Chloorkop side and the initial outcome came to Wits and Sundowns not agreeing terms.

According to KickOff, Vila confesses that he wants to be part of the change process that is undergoing at Wits.

“There are certain things that you want to achieve and certain situations that you want to test yourself in, and then there is the question of how far you can go in that respect,” he said.

“I do have ambitions and know how far I want to go. But this is the ream that has given me the opportunity and I am grateful to them for granting me that platform.

“I feel like there is a lot more I still need to give to Bidvest Wits. I want to be part of the process of change at this club. The club has brought certain players to enhance the direction we are taking as a group.”
