Vermezovic: We had chances

Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs boss Vladimir Vermezovic was philosophical about his team's goalless draw with Maritzburg United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Amakhosi lost ground on log leaders SuperSport United with a lacklustre performance which yielded few shots on target.

"We had chances to score and we didn't take them. If you don't take opportunities in football, you can't complain when you lose. It was an interesting game. We knew Felix Obada was dangerous and that they would counter down the right. We were very lucky not to," said the coach.

The Serb tactician said he was hoping none of his players would be injured during the forthcoming international break.
