Cape Town - AmaZulu confirmed on Wednesday that they are negotiating a deal with a transfer-listed Bloemfontein Celtic striker Ruzaigh Gamildien.
Late last month, Celtic’s head of media and communications, Sello Nduna, told Sport24 that the 24-year-old goal-poacher will be leaving the club during the transfer window, should any PSL team show interest.
A source at the club told Sport24 on Wednesday that the Cape Town-born striker’s next destination could be in Durban.
“Yes, we are negotiating a deal with Ruzaigh but nothing has been finalised yet,” said a source.
“He was not on trial with us before though and once everything is finalised we will release a statement regarding our next move.”
It remains to be seen if Gamildien will be wearing the Usuthu jersey in the second half of the season, starting from January next year.
