Zuma spent last term at Vasco Da Gama, but has opted to join Matsatsantsa after the Cape Town outfit were relegated to the National First Division.
"We are delighted to have signed "Rhee" (Zuma). He is one of the most experienced players in the league," United's publicist Mazolman Skhosana told the Sowetan.
"He will definitely add value, we are busy rebuilding the team after failing to win our fourth successive championship title last season.
