Cape Town - University of Pretoria have opted not to pursue their interest in winger Joel Mogorosi after securing the services of Lennox Bacela.

According to Mogorosi's agent, Lizwe Mthethwa, Tuks were showing an interest in acquiring the services of the Botswana international but the two parties were ultimately unable to come to an agreement.

However, the free agent is still wanted by another Premiership side, believed to be newly-promoted Jomo Cosmos.

"He won't join AmaTuks; we couldn't agree with them after they decided to sign Bacela," Mthethwa told KickOff.

"Having said that, we are in talks with another PSL club; the only problem is that Joel is still playing as foreigner and they also have full quota.

"I'm working around the clock to get him the SA ID."

Mogorosi, 30, made the move to South African football in 2012, joining Bloemfontein Celtic from Gaborone-based Mochudi Centre Chiefs.
