Tshabalala salutes in-form duo

Johannesburg - Injured Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala has saluted team-mates Reneilwe Letsolonyane and Mandla Masango for their scintillating form, the Soccer-Laduma website reports.

Both players were on target for Amakhosi to help them do the double against Mpumalanga Black Aces when the two teams clashed in the MTN8 and league recently.

Letsholonyane scored a goal in each match, while Masango bagged a brace in the 4-0 cup victory two weeks ago, and scored one in the 2-1 win in the league on Wednesday.

Tshabalala praised the Chiefs pair for their early-season performance, which has secured the Glamour Boys a place in the Wafa Wafa final four and second place in the league thus far.

"I am happy for Letsolonyane, who is doing well for the team and himself," Shabba said on his personal website. "He is helping us by doing his job like the rest of the players and as a result the team is producing positive results.

"Yeye (Letsolonyane) is a good player and is showing it on the field of play. He is also scoring goals. He needs to keep the momentum going and when the end of the season comes, we will be seeing the desired results.

"Masango must also be congratulated for starting the season in such tremendous form. He has been waiting long to get a chance to play and now he is using it.

"He is one to look out for in the current season and I wish him good luck for the rest of the season."
