Wits sent AmaTuks packing from the 2015 Nedbank Cup after resounding 3-0 victory in a Last 16 match at the Bidvest Stadium.
A first half goal from Cornelis Kwakman combined with two second half strikes from Sibusiso Vilakazi and Henrico Botes was enough to curb the university as they lacked in the offence department.
“We got a bit of a pasting against Wits,” said Troughton as quoted by KickOff.
“We were careless in defence and paid the price and we didn’t create enough up front.
“You can’t make excuses, but four games in ten days has been a bit tough on us.
“Wits were miles better than us.”
