Cape Town - University of Pretoria coach Sammy Troughton insists they need Lennox Bacela firing on all cylinders in a bid to get their season up and running.
Troughton's side have won just one of their opening seven Premiership games to sit 12th in the standings, tied with three teams on five points.
Tuks picked up a point in a goalless draw with Ajax cape Town on Wednesday, although it extended their winless run to six matches in all competitions.
Bacela came off the bench against the Urban Warriors for only his fourth appearance for the Pretoria outfit this season, and his lack of game-time showed as the 32-year-old wasted a glorious chance to score the winner late on when he missed the target with only the goalkeeper to beat.
Troughton is looking to give the Santos youth product more minutes on the pitch to get him back up to speed, although his team have just three fixtures remaining before the festive break.
"Lennox hasn't had a lot of game-time... there were a couple of instances (against Ajax) where I thought if he had been anticipating things he could have had a tap-in," he told SuperSport.
"It was good for him to get a bit of game-time. At the end of the day we need Lennox so hopefully we can start integrating him into the team more."
